What happens if a dasher tries to deliver the order and the customer is not home or cannot produce an ID?
DoorDash will instruct the driver to return the items to the store so you should expect to receive the item(s) back in this scenario.
What happens if a dasher arrives at the retailer but the item isn’t available?
As the retailer, you would either need to have a viable substitute, or DoorDash would cancel the delivery.
What happens if a dasher doesn’t return the items of an unfulfilled order to a retailer?
In this scenario, you would either need to contact the AccelPay support team or you will need to contact DoorDash directly for a refund. DoorDash will refund the delivery fee in full as well as the full value of the stolen item(s).
